IVANS
offers direct connectivity options to Providers, Vendors and Clearinghouses.
With IVANS, the submitter will get direct access to Direct Data Entry (FISS,
Common Working File (CWF) and HIQA/ELGA) and FTP support to the Arkansas
Gateway for batch processing, including claims submission, Electronic
Remittance Advice and Report pickup. Submitters can leverage the same
connection to support access to other Medicare Applications such as Medicare
Eligibility Verification in Real Time (270/271). IVANS offers secure IP dial
for low volume submitters, highspeed Internet (cable, DSL) for medium sized
submitters, or frame relay leased line for higher volume submitters. There
are no term or volume commitments or hardware required to support access
using IVANS for High Speed Internet or Dial Access. More information can be

VISIONSHARE As an alternative to dial-up connectivity, VisionShare
provides low cost, high speed internet connectivity to FISS (DDE access) and
the Common Working File (CWF). Rather than using metered dial services or
leased lines, VisionShare provides software that connects you over the
internet for both real-time access and batch claims submission. VisionShare
also has software which provides access to the Medicare Eligibility Database
and supports 270 / 271 Real Time beneficiary eligibility verification. Flat
rate pricing permits users unlimited access. There are no modems needed and
